Originally from Nova Scotia; Bryan MacDonald is a Math and Science educator with an enthusiasm for mentoring curiosity in students. He is also an Outdoor Educator with a passion for geography, history of exploration, and making things. He currently lives in Calgary and plays among the rivers and mountains with his wife Kara and Sons Ewan and Graeme.
Why "Outside-wise"?
It is important push students to think critically about how actions or ideas can impact beyond their immediate surroundings. Thinking outside of the box (or outside-wise) involves considering local, regional, and global perspectives and is crucial in developing ethical and empathetic leaders.
